Configuring the phone to browse WAP

• Browse to the Data services (or Services on some phones)
  
  
• Select the Connection settings
  
  
• Select connection Settings
  
  
• Select Active services settings and give it any name e.g. Safaricom
  
  
• Select Edit Active service settings
  
  
• Select Setting's name and give it any name e.g Safaricom
  
  
• Select Homepage and type in wap.wananchi.com
  
  
• Select Session mode choose Permanent
  
  
• Select Connection security, choose Off
  
  
• Select Databearer, choose GSM data
  
  
• Select Bearer Setting
  
  
• Select the dial up number and type in 951
  
  
• Select the IP Address (or Gateway on some phones)and type 62.8.64.14
  
  
• Select the Authentication type and choose Normal
  
  
• Select Data call type and choose ISDN
  
  
• Select Data call speed and type 9600
  
  
• Select Login Type and choose Automatic
  
  
• Leave the Username and Password values blank
